2 oranges

1 grapefruit

1 organic lemon

1½ cups hot filtered water

1 tsp freshly ground chia or flaxseeds

½ tsp ground ginger or cinnamon

optional boosters

3–6 drops liquid stevia

¼ tsp ground turmeric

Peel the oranges, grapefruit and lemon, leaving on some of the white pith.

Place in a blender with the remaining ingredients and boosters if desired. Blend on high speed until smooth, then pour into serving glasses.

Makes 2½ cups.

You can also use a juicer. Juice the fruit, and then stir in the water and the rest of the ingredients.
